  1. Bill,
I'm guessing Mr. John Jameson had a hand in today's writeup 😉

But I don't believe 23A was a theme answer. The theme was names for hair styles. Just in case anyone was wondering.

  2. Hi bill! So happy to find your web site. I live in Las Vegas and am a puzzle junkie. Love Sundays puzzles and now know one of them is LA! Hope your having fun in Ireland as I sit in 107.1 degrees! Sincerely, Cathy

  3. Lucky you! Our Arizona Republic newspaper included the wrong grid for these clues and answers, so that there was no way to work it. Am anxious to see if anyone in the newspaper office will acknowledge the error and print the correct grid tomorrow. Am hoping so!

  4. Hi there, Addict.

Thanks for pointing out my slip with "nose hair" connection! I am afraid I was racing to make some sort of a post and didn't get a good understanding of the theme. All fixed now.

Thanks also for posting the link to the "Mensa" version of the crossword. That could be very useful.

  5. Hi there, Cathy.

Thanks for stopping by to say "hi". It's not quite Las Vegas weather here in Louisburgh, Co. Mayo. As they say, "at least it doesn't rain inside the pubs".

Thanks for the kind words about the blog.

  6. Hi there, Mme Mimi.

Sorry to hear that you were done out of your puzzling pleasure today. It's a terrible addiction 🙂

    Good luck tomorrow.
