POKIT / POPIT
PIKE / PIPE
didn’t know POP IT and thought the skate park move was a HALF – PIKE.
Looked up POP IT and I have to say I’ve never seen them. Is this where I say PFFT?
This was like a Friday for me. Too many things I had no idea about. Like meerkats. I don’t know who Brock Purdy is. Drop out is flake? Popit is new to me. Never heard of Scandal or Portia. Whine, whine, whine.
11:08, no errors.
8:10, no errors.
A slow start but hit my stride. Ironically (given the theme), I’ve never heard the term MINI SPLITS.
9:06 – no errors or lookups. False start: FACIA>FACIE.
New or forgotten: “Diaper Genie,” “The Best Man Holiday,” POPIT, Portia de ROSSI.
A mini split might also a bowling term; however, I learned it as “baby split.”
Still doing well three days into the week.
Ugh! Or PFFT (who comes up with these sounds?) Didn’t know 58d meerkat group or 42a Hart. I guess I should spent more time on Nature programs. We’ll see about tomorrow!
No errors thanks to a very lucky guesses where PIPE and POP IT crossed.
Stay safe😀
7 mins 45 seconds, and 2 errors; like others, I just couldn’t conjure up the P in HALF PIPE/POP-IT. Just completely out of my ken.
29:38 – with more than a few errors. Felt like a Friday.
Bottom ate me alive. Had to cheat on PLATA/ETTE, PIPE/POPIT.
Had …MI.NIGHT and kept insisting to myself it was MIdNIGHT. Ugh.
Thought MOB was a bit out of line.
However difficult it was for me, I did enjoy the puzzle.
